BT ADDS MORE NAMES TO THE RACE TO INFINITY WINNERS

The BT Race to Infinity Campaign had taken the entire of United Kingdom with storm. For once, here was a contest that would come as nothing short of a boom to the people. This is even as BT has been at the helm of all things with its infinity package that provides people with tremendous internet speeds of as much as 40mbps download. For once this would be nothing short of revolutionary for the homes and businesses in the areas wherever this next generation of broadband would be available. This is even as the campaign allows for villages and small towns of the country to get access to the advanced fibre optic broadband. The main areas of the region are already getting access to the fibre optic broadband. These selected small towns and villages would have otherwise not got the chance to get access to the fast internet, not for another two three years.

Even as voting for the campaign ended on the 31st of December and later on, six names were listed to have won the Race to Infinity. While now courtesy the much public demand and enthusiasm as shown by a number of other areas, BT has ensured that the list of regions getting access to the Infinity package be raised to ten from the current six.

The four new names as listed by BT are Burley located in Wharfedale in Yorkshire, Capel from Surrey, Lindfield that lies in West Sussex and Marton in Warwickshire. As many as six out of ten residents in these communities have made clear their desire to get the superfast fiber optic broadband package available to them. All this is after BT showed how grand its plans were courtesy the £2.5bn investment as made by the company. BT is ambitiously looking at providing most homes in the whole of UK with the infinity package by as much as the year of 2015.
